Booking Cancellation Policy

1. Policy Overview

This Booking Cancellation Policy (Policy) sets out the terms and conditions governing cancellation of confirmed reservations made with Happy Cony LLC (Company, we, us, or our) via our website (https://conycarrental.com), phone, or authorized partners.

It works in conjunction with our Refund & Cancellation Policy, Booking Policy, and Terms & Conditions.

This Policy ensures transparency and compliance with U.S. FTC and Hawaii State consumer protection laws.

2. Standard Cancellation Windows

1. Free Cancellation:

– Cancellations made at least 24 hours before pickup receive 100% refund.

– No administrative fees apply.

2. Late Cancellation:

– Cancellations within 24 hours of pickup are charged one-day rental fee or the minimum rental fee.

3. No-Show:

– Failure to appear within 2 hours of scheduled pickup results in forfeiture of the prepaid amount.

Verbal requests are valid only after written confirmation is received. The effective cancellation time is when your written notice is received.

4. Third-Party & Affiliate Cancellations

– Bookings made through partners must be canceled via the same channel.

– Refund rules may differ depending on the partner.

5. Company-Initiated Cancellations

We may cancel and refund fully if:

– Vehicle is unavailable due to maintenance or damage;

– Fraud suspected;

– Natural disasters or safety restrictions;

– Eligibility requirements are not met.

6. Modifications vs. Cancellations

– Modifying a booking resets cancellation eligibility.

– New dates and rates apply after modification.

7. Refund Processing

– Refunds issued within 5–10 business days.

– Additional time may apply for banks or third-party channels.

– All refunds are processed in USD.

8. Non-Refundable Fees

– Optional add-ons;

– Late return or damage fees;

– Administrative charges.

9. Force Majeure

If affected by natural disasters or emergencies, we offer either:

– A full refund, or

– Rental credit valid for 12 months.

10. Dispute Resolution

Governed by Hawaii State law. Disputes fall under Honolulu County court jurisdiction.
